Europe's leading Peyronie's clinic · London
A bent penis can be treated.
Usually without surgery.
A new bend, pain with erections, or a curve that's making sex harder? It's usually Peyronie's disease: common, treatable, and most men never need an operation. A full assessment with Prof. Amr Raheem gives you a clear diagnosis and a plan.

Where are you now?
The full assessment
One visit. A full answer.
The right treatment depends on what's going on, so your first visit is a full assessment with Prof. Raheem. It can include a physical examination and an ultrasound scan.
Your story
When the bend started, whether erections hurt, and how it's affecting sex and confidence.
Examination
If needed, Prof. Raheem examines you and checks for the plaque.
Ultrasound
If it would help, a quick scan shows the plaque and the blood flow in the penis.
Your plan
A clear diagnosis, your options and what's realistic, non-surgical first.
You leave with
- A clear diagnosis: Peyronie's disease or a curve you were born with
- Whether it's still active or has settled, which changes the treatment
- What's realistic for you, and what isn't
- A treatment plan, starting with non-surgical options
Treatment
Non-surgical first, surgery if you need it
Every plan is built around your diagnosis. Most men start with treatment that doesn't involve an operation; surgery is for curves that make sex difficult and haven't responded.

Non-surgical treatment
- Injection treatment into the plaque, given by Prof. Raheem
- Traction and vacuum therapy to model the penis at home
- Shockwave and medicines where they help

Shockwave therapy
- Eases pain and improves blood flow
- Helps the plaque soften
- A personalised course, not one size fits all

Surgery, when it's needed
- For curves that make sex difficult
- Straightening, grafting or an implant
- Only after the full assessment
Why International Andrology
Treated by the doctor behind the protocol
Prof. Amr Raheem was a principal investigator in the original UK clinical trials of injection treatment for Peyronie's, and developed the shortened protocol that needs about half the injections. It's cited in the European Association of Urology guidelines.

Questions
What men usually ask
What is Peyronie's disease?
A patch of scar tissue, called a plaque, forms inside the penis. It stops that side stretching during an erection, so the penis bends, and it can cause pain, a dent or narrowing, or some loss of length. It isn't infectious and it isn't cancer.
Will it go away on its own?
Occasionally a curve improves by itself, but for most men it stays the same or gets worse. That's why it's worth being assessed, especially in the first months when it's still changing.
Do I need surgery?
Most men start with non-surgical treatment. Surgery is for curves that make sex difficult and haven't improved. Prof. Raheem will tell you honestly which group you're in.
What happens at the assessment?
Prof. Raheem talks through your symptoms and what's worrying you. The assessment can include a physical examination and an ultrasound scan. You leave with a diagnosis and a plan.
In clinic or video?
The full assessment (£150) is in clinic, so Prof. Raheem can examine you if needed. A video consultation (£100) is a good first step if you live further away or want to talk it through first.
How much does treatment cost?
It depends on your diagnosis and plan, so you get one all-inclusive price after your assessment, with no extras later.
Is it discreet?
Yes. Everything is handled privately, and we only contact you the way you prefer.
